Spring Fever

You give me fever, when you kiss me
Fever when you hold me tight
Fever in the morning
Fever all through the night…
You give me fever, FEVER!

It all started last week on Wednesday morning at 6:00am. Charlotte woke up for her morning feeding and she felt warm. I checked her temperature right away, it was 100.0 F (not classified as a fever, yet). Within four hours she developed a runny nose, a cough, watery eyes and a fever of 101.1 F (now, it’s a fever). I called the doctor and all they said to do is to give her Tylenol and make her feel comfortable. On Thursday her temp. was still about 101 to 102 even with taking Tylenol. By 6 pm her temp. was up to 104.1 and off to the ER we went. A half hour later, in the ER, her temp. was 101.2 F. I think the cold from outside helped her temp. go down, however the doctor still wanted to make sure she was okay to go home. They ended up doing a chest X-ray and a urine test. Everything looked good and they sent us home. By the next day (Friday) the fever was gone and she was looking and feeling better. She keeps getting better each day. It’s so hard seeing her helpless and sick.

So sick :(

In the ER room.

Kevin had to wear a lead vest thing b/c he held Charlotte during the X-Ray.

A few days later, all better!

Glad she is feeling better. ER visits are no fun with a baby...
