This past weekend Bill, Tara, Kevin and I took a trip to the Greater Upper Michigan Peninsula (U.P.) for some snowmobiling.
On Thursday, we dropped of Charlotte at Grandma and Grandpa Busscher.

Once we crossed the Mackinac Bridge the boys dropped off at St. Ignace and road their sleds into Curtis, while Tara and I drove the truck and trial.

You can’t be in the U.P. without getting some smoked fish.

On the trail. The trail conditions were perfect.

On Friday we road from Curtis to Manistique. We stopped for lunch and checked out the Kitch-iti-kipi “Big Springs”. It ended up being a 230 mile trip that day.

On Saturday we road from Curtis to Grand Marais and checked out Lake Superior. Miles that day…170.
The Randall’s seemed to get suck. Tara missed the corner...going a little too fast.

This is what happens when you don't stay on the trails.

We all had a great time and thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Busscher for babysitting Charlotte, it was a nice break to relax and have a good time.
