Kristie hatched a few chickens and 5 duck eggs for a school project. The chicks when home with one of her students and she took the duck home. She had them for about 4 weeks and then gave them away to friend to rise. This was a fun activity for everyone, her family and ours. We visited the ducks about every other day. Charlotte got a huge kick out of the ducks and so did I, b/c I love ducks; they are one of my favorite animals. It was so entertaining to just watch the ducks eat, drinks and just be ducks.

Kriste took the ducks for a walk all the way to our pond which is about quarter mile away from her house and they were tired, and they did not like our pond. Don't know why.
